Best Friends.

Best friends quotes::

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."
I love this quote. It's quite possibly my favorite quote ever.:) It's so true, too. Best friends should be those people that when everyone turns their back on you, they turn toward you to help. They are there for you through anything, thick or thin. They mean the world to you. You mean the world to them. They are amazing people and they would never hurt you.

"Friendship is one mind in two bodies." -Mencius
Maybe this one is better. I love this. It's true. When you have one close friend, you think alike, you know what each other thinks, you feel each other's pain, and you always know how they are feeling. This is the true quote of best friends. :)

"If you die before me, ask if you can bring a friend." -Stone Temple Pilots
This is THE quote of dedication to your friends. Of loyalty. Of trust. Of never leaving their side, no matter what.

"Everyone hears what you say. Friends listen to what you say. Best friends listen to what you don't say."
True, true. Best friends SHOULD know what you think, not just what you say. They should listen to you. They should hear even what you don't say.

“When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead, you can look beside you and your best friend will be there.”
I wish I had a friend like this. I wish I had a friend that would be by my side through everything, By my side through breakups. By my side through whatever mistakes I make. By my side through my tears. By my side through laughs.

“The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.”
I love those moments. Those moments make my day. and my week. and my month. and maybe even my year... :)

“How lucky I am to have known someone who was so hard to say goodbye to”
This quote means sooo much to me. Those are the people you want to cry when you see them go, when you want to smile when you see them come in, when you cry when they cry, when they laugh when they laugh, and laugh if they fall down. :)

"Best friends are the siblings God forgot to give us."
And this is why my mom has thirteen "kids." :) I love my amazing friends. :) And God :)

This just made my day:D

I love

taking pictures with the Web Cam with Brooke Berthlett!:D

I am.

So, yesterday at quizzing, we talked about how God is the one one who can say, "I am." and mean it like that!

We also learned a quote, John 4:24, "God is the spirit, and his worshippers must worship in grace and in truth, in about five minutes. It was pretty awesome.

But this was more about God than just quizzing. It's about how amazing he is. How much he can change a person. How much he can heal people. How much he loves each and every one of us.

God is so amazing. Like, for example, my friend, Larissa. One day, Larissa was getting ready to go to bed and she told us that she gets this feeling when God is there, and she LOVES that feeling. So, before she went to bed, she prayed to God and asked him to give her more of that feeling.

When she woke up the next day, she had that feeling God was there. She had that feeling ALL DAY! SHe walked into school and told a few of her friends, "JESUS LOVES YOU!" In Algebra, she told the kids in her class, "You know what, God MADE this equation. He MADE it for US to solve it! That's so amazing!" And by the end of class, had about 10 people around her desk working on it with her, because of how energetic and happy she was about it!

That is so amazing and that's just one tiny example of God's amazing work!

Also, a lady at church was in a wheelchair since she was SEVEN! Three weeks ago, the pastor at our church, Dale Kaufman, says, "How many of you believe God can work miracles?" Everyone raised their hands. He says, "I don't think any of you TRULY understand until you see this! Turn around and look to the back of the church!" We all turned around, and the lady in the wheelchair... She was WALKING! With a walker, but still! That is just so amazing, and that shows something! That shows that there is NO WAY God is not real. I just don't understand how people can NOT believe in God. He's AMAZING!

These are only tiny, TINY examples of God and his amazing-ness....
That was a weird word, but it fit perfectly. :)

So, I just think this is amazing! :)

Hmm.

I don't really know what to write about today, which is new. I always can think of something. I don't like this... Hmm...

Light the Night?

Yes, I'll write about Light the Night.

Light the Night is Monroe Free Methodist Church's trunk or treat, which is this Saturday from 6-7:30pm. I have between 4 and 6 people spending the night afterwards! Michaela Brownell (8th grader), Alsiha Blach (sophomore), Ashley Jewell (freshman) and Alyssa Augustininak (freshman) are spending the night for sure, and Abby Yeary(freshman) and Emily Cornell (freshman) that MIGHT be. It's going to be so much fun! :) But, I do think it's funny how I'm a sophomore and I only have 10 friends that are sophomores, too, at the MOST,and almost all of my other friends are freshmen. I also have... about 10 eighth graders as friends. I really don't care, though. I just naturally click with freshmen, especially since I'm supposed to BE a freshmen. And I don't really like most of the sophomores. A couple of my sophomore friends don't even go to Monroe; they go to Milan.

What's funny is that about half of my friends are in my youth group!!! Katie (freshman), Ashley (freshman), Abby (freshman), Emily (freshman), Sara (freshman),  Michaela (eighth grader), Harry (eighth grader), Isaac (eighth grader), Brittany (eighth grader), Alan (eighth grader), Ethan (eighth grader), Larissa (eighth grader), Alisha (sophomore), Alyssa (sophomore), Mary (sophomore), Chris (sophomore), Jordan (sophomore) and Rob (senior).

I love these people to Death<3 :)

I only have like MAYBE ten friends outside of youth group. Destiny (freshman), Brooke :) (freshman), Kayla (sophomore), Justice (freshman), Katie (freshman), Alleana (senior), Makenzie (sophomore),..... I can't really think of any more.... Obviously, the majority of my friends are in my youth group. That makes me happy:) Haha!
